I would like a bit more proof before I trust the unknown.
Do you need proof in your own knowing, or do you need to stop listening to the 'Real World'?
Housekeeping! Thank you to everyone who bought something from me in the pop-up. I appreciate it SO SO much! All the packages are out and on their ways now and should be arriving with you ASAP.
LONDON STUDIO DATES! I have my first two studio dates in London: July 22, and Aug 4th. I’ll be in Hackney Downs. Are you in or near London? Come in for an in-person session! It's SO fun, and kinda mind-blowing how much energy movement happens.
I have 1 1:1 Heart Path mentorship spot opening up from mid-July. Respond to this email if you want to know what that looks like.
“I’m doing it, and I am so so scared. Can we do an emergency sesh— I don’t think I can wait till next week.”
My client— a long-term client who I’ve been working with for months— has spent MONTHS tuning into her own Heart Path, and learning to trust it. Deeply and devotedly. In the last few months she’s become someone who moves so freaking quickly and directly through the energy of the world that she’s a totally different person to who she was when we started! Last week though, she was deciding whether to move halfway around the world based on this tiny little voice— her own inner knowing. She was terrified. So, of course, we talked to the Guides about it.
I want to share with you what the Guides said to my client about this, because it was honestly one of the more beautiful things I’ve ever heard them say in a session.
The question that came up was “how can I trust this unseen thing that is asking such a massive leap of me, when the rest of reality says it’s not real?”
Once you know how your own Heart Path feels, how it feels to make decisions from there, how it feels to be guided by your own inner being, it’s all magic.
Until it’s not.
Until the doubt creeps in. Until your old patterns and worldviews rear their heads and you start to feel…
scared.
Scared about your decisions, scared about your worldview and whether you’re losing touch with reality.
It’s freaking HARD walking out there onto your Heart Path alone.
And it has to be alone, at first, because the Heart Path is one of sovereignty. If you were to walk it based on trusting other people’s opinions, or because other people were walking it in front of you, it wouldn’t be the path of learning to trust your inner being, it’d be the path of trusting someone *else’s* inner being. It’s easy to trust someone else’s inner being, but that’s not going to lead you on YOUR Heart Path.
Your Heart Path is yours alone, and that’s part of what’s so scary about it. Because you’re walking away from the consensus about how the world works. You know, the linear consensus. The consensus that says it has to take a certain amount of time to get where you’re going, that it has to be done a certain way, that your relying on signs and your own inner knowing is reckless and irrational. The ‘well good luck’s and the ‘I’ll see you back here in 6 months after you fail’s and the ‘I just don’t want you to get hurt’s, and the ‘you need to be realistic’s.
(Booh, realistic. BOOOH.)
The thing is though, when you’re on the energetic path, you have different rules in life. It’s as if the rest of the world is walking on solid ground, following the pathways laid out in front of them in order to get up a mountain, and one day you sprout wings.
These wings are brand new, and you don’t know how to use them. The only way to learn to use them is to jump off something that’s high enough for the wings to catch you.
You have to trust that the wings will work before you have PROOF that they work.
Not only that, but nobody around you can see the wings, because wings aren’t a part of their worldview. So there you are, standing on the edge of something, scared shitless, thinking “oh dear, am I doing this? Am I really doing this?!” They’re all standing down there* going ‘what the hell is she doing?! GET DOWN FROM THERE YOU’RE GOING TO FAIL!’.
“Are these wings going to work?” you ask yourself.
The only way to find out is to jump.
And when you do that. If you take that leap. Your own wings catch you and you start flying.
But you keep looking down to the people on the ground for guidance and feedback.
They still can’t see the wings, so they think you’re falling! Every time you look down for their feedback, you start moving in that direction, straight for the ground.
You think you’re falling, too, because you’re tuned into what they’re all saying. ‘They’re right’ you think. “I was mad to do this. Shit.” Then you remember! “Wait though, I have WINGS!” You start flying again. Then look down to the ground for feedback, and start falling. Then remember your wings and start flying. Repeating this over, and over, and over.
This is essentially how it feels when you start off on your own energetic Heart Path. You fly, and then you freak out. Fly, and then freak out.
The only people you know to trust are on the ground and they’re really worried about you, up there in the air like that, flailing around a lot.
You start flying higher, and higher, and then when you look down, and start trying to align yourself with the people on the ground, the jolt out of flying feels even bigger, even more painful. This is the point at which you have to exercise more discernment.
Essentially, the Guides said, it becomes more and more important to surround yourself with people who are on their own Heart Paths, living in deep immersion within the energetic world.
The reason the “Real World” has so much gravity to it is that there are millions of people who agree.
The Heart Path is different, especially at the beginning, because you *need* to step onto it alone. The whole point of the path is trusting your own inner guidance over the loudness of the Head Path (aka the ‘Real World’). But once you’ve accepted that you’re alone, and that you walk this path alone, you become able to hear your own Heart Path more clearly.
At this point, it becomes really helpful to have companionship from people also walking their own energetic path. Then when you do start to have little wobbles, you can turn to them, not the people on the ground.
The people who are also on the energetic path with you will say
“Drop back into your Heart Path!”
“It’s just a wobble, focus on what’s good!”
“Trust yourself, you’ve got this!”
“Get back up here into the sky where it’s FUN!”
Then, because you’ve got confirmation from the sky, instead of the ground, the wobble doesn’t become a fall. It just becomes a way to strengthen your connection to yourself.
How do you find these people?
It’s simple.
Stop looking down.
Start looking up.
Look around you in the sky.
See all the other people who are flying.
You’re already doing it.
There are so many of us out there flying with you.
You’re out there flying on this energetic trajectory that does not make rational sense, and yet it’s how the world works.
It’s magic, and you are magic.
And you’re already up there in the sky flying.
Keep. Fucking. Going.
Big big hugs,
Rebecca
Ps. I have 3 spots left in my 3-month Heart Path group mentorship, that is going to be this EXACT thing— do you want a small group, led by me, connecting you to your own Heart Path? A series of lessons, tools and exercises to keep you moving back onto your Heart Path? A series of one-on-one and group Guide sessions to connect you even more deeply? A What’s App group for support and feedback and even more nudges back onto your path? 6 people total. 3 spots are already taken. If you want to learn more about it, respond to this email.
We start the first or second week of July. It’s going to be so freaking magical, and a total energetic game-changer if you want Guidance in learning to walk this path. I’ve already started building the energy for the group, and if you can feel it calling to you, step in. Come and join us.
*As an aside, it’s not that other people are incapable of flying. It’s that they just have to believe in flying for their wings to sprout. *Everyone* has the potential for them.
